Unfortunately, my recent stay was quite disappointing compared to my first visit, which was for a wedding. The room was just okay, and I felt the service was chaotic with some staff seemingly unhappy, which dampened the overall experience. On the bright side, the hotel has a beautiful exterior and some of the facilities, like the pizza dinner on the deck, were enjoyable. However, the value for money didn't quite match as I expected more from a place that charges a higher rate.

The room was alright but didn't live up to the expectations based on previous stays. It felt a bit tired and not as clean as I hoped.

The facilities need some upkeep as they showed signs of neglect, but the overall ambiance outside was quite nice.

My experience at the hotel was quite varied. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and featured stunning views of rolling hills and vineyards, making for a peaceful stay. However, the service was hit or miss; while I encountered one staff member who was incredibly helpful, another was quite rude. The location was perfect for accessing wineries, but the dining options were lacking in quality. Overall, it had its highlights but also significant areas needing improvement.

I had a lovely experience at the hotel, particularly enjoying the high tea, which was beautifully presented with a delightful selection of treats. While the atmosphere was charming, the weekend crowd made service a bit slow due to staff shortages. The hotel also offers pet-friendly options, which is a plus, but the breakfast seating could be improved for guests with pets. Overall, it's a great place for a special occasion, but better reservations could enhance the experience.

I had an incredibly delightful experience at the hotel, with a spectacular high tea that truly raised the bar. The location is beautiful and tranquil, and the facilities offer a good range. Unfortunately, some service aspects were lacking, and certain items didn't meet my expectations. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and plan to return, especially to experience the seasonal menu changes.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were modern and clean, featuring a lovely balcony overlooking the gorgeous Hunter Valley.
Service

While I had some great interactions with staff, there were moments of confusion and a lack of uniformity. One staff member’s response to my request for boiled eggs was particularly off-putting.
Location

Dining

The high tea was exceptional with a variety of delicious options; however, the hot buffet breakfast was merely lukewarm.

I recently stayed at this resort, and while the views and location are stunning, several aspects left me wanting more. The service could use some improvement, especially during busy times. The overall experience was marred by lack of information and amenities that fell short of expectations, especially considering the price. However, the ambience was lovely and the staff made a genuine effort to assist.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had lovely decor and offered a nice view of the valley. However, there were some issues with the furniture, as the lamps were quite large and crowded the bedside table.
Service
6.0
The service had its moments with supportive staff trying their best, but the understaffing was evident. I felt a warmer welcome could have made a big difference.
Location
9.0
The resort is perfectly located near numerous wineries and attractions, making it quite convenient for exploring the area.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was excellent, especially during our special meal; the restaurant has a beautiful setup, though the portions were overly generous.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like the pool were enjoyable, but some amenities, such as gym hours and towel availability, need improvement.
